End of Day Report
v0.9.x July 21, 2026 · Monday
July 21, 2026 · SDR Hive UAT Prep
73% done. 27% left to ship
Created two UAT testing videos documenting SDR Hive current state and functionality. Cleaned up SDR Hive and AE Hive codebase. Made modifications post-recording to incorporate improvements. Tomorrow: third video showing latest updates. Goal: SDR Hive + AE Hive + SDR Leadership Hive ready for team UAT by EOD Thursday. The MVP works. The last 27% is collaboration — we need the team to find edge cases, suggest optimizations, identify what changes matter.

What's working: Core SDR workflows. Dashboard. Conversation tracking. Session logging. Basic UI/UX. Navigation flows. Data persistence.

What's left: Edge cases. Performance optimization. Polish. Team feedback integration. Real-world usage patterns. Advanced filtering. Export capabilities. Role-specific views refinement.

What We Did
Two work streams today
COMPLETED
UAT Testing Videos
Created two comprehensive recordings documenting SDR Hive current state and functionality. Recording 1 provides complete walkthrough. Recording 2 focuses on SDR Login Dashboard and user flows. Both videos available for team review and testing guidance.

COMPLETED
Codebase Cleanup
Cleaned up and organized SDR Hive and AE Hive codebase. Removed dead code. Consolidated redundant functions. Improved code readability. Set foundation for team to easily navigate and modify without friction. Made modifications post-recording to incorporate improvements identified during video creation.
Why This Matters
73% is the inflection point
"The last 27% of a product takes the bulk of the time. That's where reality meets design. That's where the team finds what you missed. By documenting the current state in video and cleaning up the code, we're not saying 'SDR Hive is done.' We're saying 'SDR Hive is ready for team collaboration.' The MVP works. Now the team tells us what actually matters."
Product philosophy, July 21

Why ship at 73%, not 100? Because you don't know what the last 27% is until the team uses it. The features we think are critical might not matter. The edge cases we didn't anticipate will emerge in testing. The performance bottleneck we missed will show up under real load. By sharing the 73% product with documented videos and clean code, we unlock team knowledge and collaboration.

Two parallel tracks: SDR Hive testing with series of SDR folks (structured UAT this week, feedback shapes priorities). DCN pilot with Mike Neumann's dedicated person (Deal Collaboration Network, separate initiative, awaiting assignment confirmation). Videos document SDR Hive current state. Team provides feedback. We iterate rapidly. By next week, we've incorporated feedback and are ready for broader SDR rollout.

Work Delivered Today
Session 11: MVP fixes, calendar live, sidebar restructured
✅ Deployed & Live
  • 🔧 React Hydration Error #310 fixed — moved hook above early returns, stable sidebar
  • 📦 Removed reserved placeholder sections — dashboard flows cleanly now
  • 🧭 Sidebar restructured — Opportunities + My Analyses moved to ACCOUNT & HISTORY section, TOOLS reordered (Private Brain first)
  • 🧹 Sidebar bottom cleaned — removed UPGRADE button, user card, Pro label
  • 📅 Google Calendar OAuth live — syncing now, auto-refresh hourly, users can connect
🔥 Ready to Fire (UAT)
  • Opportunities + My Work + Call Interface redesign — fired, UAT in progress
  • Call Interface shows previous analyses + [ANALYZE & SCORE] button (Claude synthesis)
  • Status auto-updates: < 80% = needs_follow_up, ≥ 80% = ready_for_ae
  • Admin PostHog Analytics Dashboard — Phase 2 (ready when needed)
🏥 Health Check Summary
✅ Supabase
No slow queries. Mean latency <200ms. Add 2 indexes to prevent degradation past 10k rows.
✅ Claude API
100% success rate (20/20 HTTP 200). p50 475ms, p95 585ms. No analyze-document calls in 7d (flag: Private Brain not tested).
🟡 Minor Blocker
Meeting Calendar widget toggle not persisting. Fix: 5-10 min. Playwright auth tests need session sign-in (10 min).

The Reality Check
What "73% MVP" actually means
73% WORKS
Core Functionality Solid
The main workflows users care about work reliably. Conversations get logged. Sessions get tracked. Data persists. No crashes on happy path. SDR opens app, does their job, closes app. That works.
27% TO GO
Edge Cases & Polish
What happens when an SDR opens 15 conversations at once? What if their internet drops mid-session? What if they need to bulk export? These are the questions that matter but only emerge in real use. That's where the team comes in.
TEAM NEEDED
Optimization Requires Feedback
Performance might feel fine to us at 1 conversation. But at 50 conversations? Search might be slow. UI might lag. Export might timeout. Team finds these. Team tells us priorities. Team helps us decide: "This needs fixing. That's nice-to-have."
TIME MULTIPLIER
Last 27% Takes Most of Time
Getting to 73% MVP probably took 50% of available hours. Getting to 95%+ will take 50% of available hours. That's why we involve the team now. More eyes = more edge cases found = more efficient iteration.

Looking Ahead
August pilot + FY2027 planning trajectory

This week: Ship three hives (SDR Hive, AE Hive, SDR Leadership). Get team aligned through UAT. Do investigative work on partner strategy with Charleston contact. By Friday EOD, we have production-ready products, tested workflows, and strategic intelligence.

Next week: SDR folks start testing shipped product. DCN pilot person onboarded by Mike (awaiting assignment). Gather real usage data. First cycle of feedback and iteration. Eastern Region partner leader provides perspective on partner orchestration needs and DCN positioning.

August: With production-ready SDR products, validated testing data, DCN pilot underway, and strategic partner intelligence in hand, we're positioned for FY2027 planning conversations. "Here's what SDR teams tested and validated. Here's what DCN pilot data shows. Here's what partners are telling us they need. Here's the budget we need to scale." That's the conversation that moves budgets and unlocks resources.
